Animal : Review

★★★★🟂

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandana starring film Animal has created a new hype among viewers. The film is attracting both praise and controversy. The plot of the movie is straight; a story of love for his father by a son which involves revenge, bloodshed, and the super id of the character Ranvijay. You may feel the lack of connectivity between the changing scenes but background music and superb acting of all the caste has overpowered that. A viewer looking for a new storyline may feel despair, this is an old story that is wrapped in a new style where a hero goes on hunting to avenge his family wounds. The storyline is fabricated and leaves no space to apply logic. Still, the movie is full of entertainment. Expectations of social activists and feminists have also perished, the movie has no message except for the busy fathers who leave no time to take care of their children and later blame them for their carelessness when they become animals(id overtakes ego and superego).

If we see the characters, acting has set a new benchmark. Ranvijay (Ranbir Kapoor) and Abrar (Bobby Deol) have broken all the previous records, Rashmika Mandana has also been proven the right choice for Sandeep Wanga Reddy. Songs are also heart-touching and not easy to get off the mind. The song Jamal Kudu is like the new Mehbooba Mehbooba from Sholay which may hangover your mind.

Dialogues are as quick as lightning, making the movie more unforgettable. Dialogues like "You trained me well papa!" have made this father-son relationship unique. Viewers can take one message home Don't outsource the parental roles and have a good time with your family.

As said, Sandeep Reddy has touched a new height of violence and the movie is for adults only as some scenes in the movie may disturb you, expecting any other social message is futile. Yes, the movie is full of entertainment and set new records at the box office.
